Campaign for Coastal Defence

Selsey is Under Threat

With global warming, sea levels are rising & the sea is stormier.  Our coast defences need repair, but there’s no Government money for this. The District Council won’t continue to maintain the coast defences as it has done in the past, because of the rising costs. Homes will be lost if nothing is done!

SOS are a group of volunteers committed to bring the issues to your attention and to campaign for short and long term strategies that will SAVE OUR SELSEY

On this site you can read more about the issues, keep up-to date with developments, register your interest, or join us and play an active part in our campaign.

We are part of the “National Voice of Coastal Communities” (NVCC).  You will find a useful forum on their website here
